Evenia, a Light Elemental witch and half-elf, is on the run from a shadowed beast intent on keeping her prisoner. When she finally escapes, she falls right at the feet of those who might be worse than the monster she fled from: the Mirchan Sentries. She must decide which is the lesser of two evils, and what her next step is in getting what she wants: her freedom.

 

For 25 years, Kalland, a Wind and Storms elf, has searched for the beast that killed his parents. He can hardly believe his luck when a woman reeking of the Darkness answers his prayers. She’s the key to finding his parents’ killer, and he’ll use her as he sees fit to get the answers and revenge he seeks.

 

When word comes of the Darkness’ newest plan, Evenia and Kalland must decide if they can set aside their differences to do what needs to be done.
